Open Day 2019

All, both those thinking of joining and those have already joined, are invited to our Open Day on Monday 23 September 2019 at the Union Church and Community Centre, Weston Park Road, N8 9PX from 1.30 – 3.30 p.m.
You are invited to bring along any friends, family and neighbours who might be interested in joining our U3A. We are a lively, friendly group now celebrating our second anniversary, so do come along to find out about the many and varied opportunities which are offered. These include over 70 interest groups covering a range of learning, leisure, music, sport and creative activities, plus gallery, museum and theatre visits. A shared learning project – telling a history of Crouch End – will be getting underway in October.
There is a programme of monthly meetings and health seminars, supported by outside speakers on varied topics together with a calendar of social events, group events and quizzes. At The Open Day you can be introduced to new skills and subjects, chat with Group Conveners/Committee Members and share experiences. For existing members this is an opportunity to see what other group activities they might like to try. Both prospective and existing members may also be inspired to think about sharing their own specialist skills and hobbies, suggesting or convening a future group.

The Crouch End & District U3A is open to all retired and semi-retired people and is part of the international University of the Third Age. No qualifications are required. All you need is interest and enthusiasm.
