Lea Valley Walk #2

9.5 miles / 15.3 km
Our second leg of the journey starts out by passing William Girling and King George’s Reservoirs on the right and industrial estates to the left. If we look around, however, we will see quirky long boats and a number of birds to distract from the otherwise grim views. We may meet friendly people heading off to fish as well! Once we pass Enfield Lock, Rammey Marsh Lock and pass under the M25,we leave Greater London and start to get a much greener view. After passing Cheshunt Lock we are surrounded a number of lakes on either side of us abounding with water fowl and birds. We may pass some rowers if we’re lucky and possibly cheer on their efforts. Finally we pass Nazeing Marsh, before reaching the finish at Broxbourne.
