It’s either in your cupboard or in the attic – half of British homes have a Scrabble set. According to Ms Wikipedia, there are 4,000 (only?) Scrabble clubs around the world. Whether you’re a wizard or an ordinary mortal, join our group and make it 4,001.
We are very friendly and easy-going, we use a standard UK Collins Scrabble Words dictionary and the rules in the Scrabble box, and we arrange tables to suit members’ skill levels. Tea and coffee will be drunk and cakes eaten.
Group Conveners : Charlotte Bruton and Hilary Sinclair
The Group meets in the first floor restaurant of the Crouch End Picturehouse, 165 Tottenham Lane, N8 9BY, fortnightly on Thursdays, 2 – 4 p.m.
