❑ Buy a good read and raise money for a local food bank

Reflections and Echoes 3 – the Writing Groups’ third collection of short stories is now on sale. The book contains several pieces from 14 members of the three groups. All proceeds from the book will go to three food banks in the Haringey areas covered by CEDu3a. We ask for a minimum donation of £5 per book. If you would like one or more copies, please send proof of online donation to one or more of the foodbanks listed below to Nicci Iacovou (nicci37@btinternet.com)

The CEDu3a Crochet Group got involved alongside other local groups in yet another community initiative, namely making hats, scarves and mittens for Hornsey Food Bank to be given out to people in the queue
❑ Charity quilt raffle
 
The CEDu3a Patchwork and Quilting Group embarked on a project to create a Sampler Quilt to showcase the skills and techniques they had learnt during lockdown
 
The quilt was made by a mixture of hand and machine sewing. It was raffled for Open Door, a local mental health charity which supporting young people and raised ÂŁ500 for the charity
